Prather Street fatality apartment fire in February 1986. 
Assistant Chief Bobby Kimble is seen at the top of the stairs in the black turnouts.
Fire was the result of a gas explosion in an upstairs apartment.  One person was home at the time, he was transported by Mulvane EMS to the hospital where he later died.  It is believed that he was trying to light the pilot light on his furnace, he was found with major burns on most of his body running up the street in the snow when crews first arrived.  Debris was found in trees and over a block away.
